Dr. Ashkan Jalili

Dr. Ashkan Jalili (Dr. Ash) is a British Columbia–licensed chiropractor, clinician, educator, and Founder and Clinical Director of the Canadian Brain Performance & Neuroplasticity Centres (CBPN). In clinical practice since 2002, his career has been dedicated to the intersection of clinical neuroscience, neurorehabilitation, chiropractic, functional neurology, and functional and metabolic medicine.

Dr. Ash currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Carrick Institute, where he contributes to postgraduate education in clinical neuroscience. Over more than two decades, he has pursued extensive postgraduate training focused on assessing and rehabilitating neurological and neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction.

Before returning to Canada in 2016, Dr. Ash practiced in Santa Monica, California, where he directed a multidisciplinary MD/DC/PT clinic. His academic career has included teaching roles at Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles and Japan Chiropractic College in Tokyo, as well as seven years teaching chiropractic board examination review courses in neurology, orthopedics, radiology, neuromuscular diagnosis, chiropractic science, and philosophy. He also previously served as President of the Westside District of the California Chiropractic Association and as an Industrial Disability Evaluator in California.

His clinical interests include concussion and persistent post-concussion symptoms, vestibular and balance disorders, dysautonomia, cognitive impairment, movement and sensorimotor dysfunction, and complex neurological presentations. His approach integrates detailed clinical examination with objective neurological assessment, advanced neurotechnology, and individualized neuroplasticity-based rehabilitation.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ash is the co-founder of CereFLEX Labs and formulator of CereFLEX AM/PM, a Canadian-manufactured brain-health formulation. He is also the creator of CortexIQ Brain, an AI-based platform being developed for neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, and neurorehabilitation assessment and clinical decision support.

At the centre of Dr. Ash's work is a commitment to understanding the nervous system as an interconnected whole—and using clinical neuroscience, objective measurement, technology, and individualized rehabilitation to help patients achieve their highest possible level of function.
