Conditions We Treat

Objective assessment and targeted neuro-rehabilitation for complex neurological conditions — measured, tracked and refined.

Many of our patients arrive after months or years of being told to simply rest and wait. What makes our approach different is measurement: before treatment begins, we run an advanced neurological assessment to identify exactly which systems — vestibular, visual, oculomotor, autonomic, cognitive, proprioceptive and sensorimotor — are not functioning optimally. Rehabilitation is then targeted at those systems, and progress is re-measured objectively so you can see the change rather than rely on how you feel on a given day.

Below is a summary of the conditions our multidisciplinary team assesses and treats most often, along with the symptoms that typically bring people to us and the therapies we use to address them. Every program is individualized, and most patients complete our five-day Neuro-Intensive Program in Vancouver, with a personalized at-home plan and collaboration with their other care providers built in. If your condition is not listed here, contact us — our team reviews every case individually and will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Concussion (mTBI)

A mild traumatic brain injury caused by a blow, jolt or whiplash that temporarily disrupts brain function. Even a mild concussion can affect vision, balance, cognition and the autonomic nervous system, and symptoms can persist without targeted rehabilitation.

Common symptoms

  • Headaches
  • Dizziness and balance problems
  • Brain fog and slowed processing
  • Light and sound sensitivity
  • Fatigue
  • Vision and eye-tracking problems

How we treat it

  • Comprehensive neurological assessment
  • Vestibular rehabilitation
  • Oculomotor and vision therapy
  • GyroStim therapy
  • C3Logix tracking

Offered through our Neuro-Recovery Intensive Program

Post-Concussion Syndrome

Persistent symptoms that continue weeks or months after a concussion, often driven by unresolved dysfunction in the vestibular, visual, autonomic or cervicogenic systems rather than the original injury itself.

Common symptoms

  • Persistent headaches
  • Brain fog
  • Exercise intolerance
  • Sleep disruption
  • Anxiety and mood changes
  • Difficulty concentrating

How we treat it

  • Autonomic and HRV assessment
  • GyroStim therapy
  • Sensorimotor reintegration
  • Photobiomodulation
  • Individualized home program

Offered through our Neuro-Recovery Intensive Program

Dysautonomia & POTS

A condition in which the autonomic nervous system fails to regulate blood pressure and heart rate properly, including postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), frequently following concussion or viral illness.

Common symptoms

  • Rapid heartbeat on standing
  • Lightheadedness or near-fainting
  • Exercise intolerance
  • Temperature dysregulation
  • Fatigue
  • Brain fog

How we treat it

  • Tilt-table and autonomic testing
  • Biocom HRV assessment
  • Graded reconditioning
  • Neuro-endocrine and metabolic support
  • Vestibular rehabilitation

Offered through our Neuro-Recovery Intensive Program

Cognitive Decline

A gradual or injury-related reduction in memory, focus and processing speed. Objective cognitive baselines such as MoCA and NeuroCatch allow rehabilitation to be targeted and progress to be measured over time.

Common symptoms

  • Memory lapses
  • Reduced focus and attention
  • Slower processing speed
  • Word-finding difficulty
  • Reduced mental stamina

How we treat it

  • MoCA and neurocognitive testing
  • Cortical activation protocols
  • Photobiomodulation
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
  • Functional medicine support

Offered through our Neuro-Recovery Intensive Program
