Canadian Brain Performance & Neuroplasticity Centres (CBPN) helps people rebuild brain function after injury and illness. We combine the most researched technological diagnostic tools in neuro-rehabilitation and clinical neuroscience with hands-on, one-on-one therapy — all organized around one principle: the brain can change. That principle, neuroplasticity, is the science behind everything we do, from concussion recovery to elite athletic performance.

Our programs are built for people recovering from mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), concussion and post-concussion syndrome, vestibular disorders and vertigo, dysautonomia and POTS, chronic pain, functional movement disorders, and cognitive decline. They are also built for professional and competitive athletes who want objective measurement of their brain, eyes, balance and nervous system — and training that sharpens reaction time, visual processing and decision-making. Patients travel to our Vancouver clinic from Alaska, across Canada, the United States and Europe to complete our Neuro-Intensive Program, and we support them with a structured plan for travel, treatment and at-home care.

CBPN is built and led by a multidisciplinary team: medical and functional medicine physicians, chiropractic neurologists, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, neuroscientists, naturopathic doctors and registered acupuncturists, all trained extensively in clinical neuro-rehabilitation. The clinic is directed by Dr. Ashkan Jalili (D.C., DACNB, FABBIR), and was the first clinic in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada to offer FDA-recognized GyroStim therapy.
